
WildTribe Holiday Club - Middle Spernal
WildTribe is a holiday adventure for children aged 4-11 who love the outdoors. Activities include den building, bug hunting, campfire cooking, arts and crafts, bushcraft, and wildlife spotting. Sessions are led by experienced staff, who are specialists in supporting children with a range of needs. Sessions are run in two groups (ages 4-7 and 7-11), ensuring activities match abilities over two unique sites. WildTribe provides safe, fun, and memorable holiday experiences for children.

Understanding woodlice ecology and identification is key to monitoring their numbers and protecting their habitats. Join Avery Hill, invertebrate enthusiast and Assistant Biodiversity Officer at the Heart of England ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ, as we explore the purpose and benefits of woodlice, their fascinating adaptations, and how to identify a few common species.

Experience the magic of autumn’s vibrant beauty on a 2-hour guided walk with ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Ranger Aaron through the Dorsington Arboretum and surrounding woodlands, where the trees are putting on their most spectacular display of the year. Along the way, you will discover seasonal wildlife, stunning landscapes, and learn about the ecological importance of trees. A perfect outing for photographers, families, and nature lovers to enjoy the forest’s breathtaking autumnal display.

Ever wondered how birds are tracked and studied in the wild? Join us for a fascinating morning with the Redditch Ringing Group and get a behind-the-scenes look at bird conservation in action! Get up close and observe how these skilled bird ringers carefully catch, identify, measure, and ring birds right here in the Heart of England ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ. You’ll learn about why bird ringing is crucial for conservation and gain insights into the lives of some of the ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ’s feathered residents.
We have two consecutive separate sessions starting at 8:30am and then 9:30am. Each session will last about an hour and your ticket will include a welcome hot drink. This event is not suitable for dogs.
